After listening to your overwhelmingly positive feedback and feeling your love for your favorite mobile phone, the good folks from Ovi maps team have launched a new version of the Ovi maps client that is heavily optimized for oldie but Goldie Nokia’s business devices.


The latest Ovi Maps with free walk and drive navigation is now (officially) available for Nokia E71 and Nokia E66 and you download it for free from nokia.com/maps.


Free walk and drive navigation has been available on a range of devices such as the Nokia E72, Nokia N97 mini and X6 since January and recently, as some of you discovered, also on the Nokia N86 8MP. However, because of technical constraints, it isn… .. .

I already wrote few times about touchless control interface for camera phones based on the innovative eyeSight’s eyePlay Engine.


The core technology is based on the image processing and algorithms that utilize the phone camera together with user hand movements and translate them to commands that control the UI.
