Nuance Communications, Inc., today announced Nuance T9 Trace, a continuous touch input technology designed specifically for touchscreen phones. With Nuance T9 Trace, consumers simply glide their finger from one letter to another on their touchscreen QWERTY or touchscreen 12-key keypads, spelling words quickly with no stylus or other implement needed.

Security researchers over at F-Secure are warning S60 Smartphone users of a newly discovered mobile malware identified as ‘Merogo SMS’ aimed at Symbian based devices powered with the S60 Third Edition platform.
They’re investigating a series of SMS Worms, found in the wild in China. Known as Trojan:SymbOS/MerogoSMS, these worms try to spread on Symbian Series 60 3rd Edition devices. Symbian continues to be by far the most common smartphone operating system in the world.
